Hello

My name is Aimme Harbinson and I'm standing as PIP candidate for Hadleigh St. James

I’m 25 and have lived in Castle Point since 2009 after moving from Dagenham.

I’m currently working as a Specialist Housing Officer for South Essex, providing housing based support for the most vulnerable members of our society which is incredibly rewarding. 

I’m also a fully trained swimming coach, I worked at Castle Point Leisure between 2016 and 2022 teaching 100’s of children and adults which is still a huge passion of mine. This passion took me traveling to Dubai where I taught individuals from around the world and gained knowledge from all different cultures, additionally in my spare time I still cover lessons throughout South Essex.

I take great pride living in Hadleigh and love to use local amenities, restaurants, the country park and open spaces, as this is where I spent most of my childhood and would want the same for generations to come. 

Protecting green belt and open spaces is a huge passion of mine and  I recently spoke heartfelt words against the development on Green Belt in Daws Heath

I believe that no matter what walk of life you come from you should have no limits and being elected would only fuel that message to other young people to partake in paths they never thought possible. If you do choose to support me and the PIP party I’ll consistently strive to be a voice for people who may feel unheard and be committed to supporting our local people/area in whichever way needed.
