My name is Lorraine Larman and I am standing as a PIP candidate for Appleton ward

I have lived in the area for most of my life and have three children who all attend local schools.  My early career involved training cooks for the 500 schools in Essex and then I became a cleaning manager in 2000. In 2012, I was asked to join the Board of a domestic refuge, as this is a charity close to my heart. I want to stand with PIP to ensure we have an independent council and protect the Green Belt. This April, I will have the honour of being installed as the Master of the Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners.
